Sooo...I'm not exactly completely caught up on all my sleep.
Lots of family stuff happening, my uncle having surgery being one of them. He's okay. It was just a bit scary because I and my aunt were there for the duration of it. I still have some unsettled feelings about my aunt being there and being the one to be in the pre-op waiting room (only one family member was allowed, as opposed to the regular waiting room). I chalk it up to slight selfishness and whatnot, but I feel kind of in the wrong, too, because I was pretty much the only taking him to all of his appointments and talking with the doctors. How would she know what to do if he needed something or if the doctors asked about a previous appointment?
I don't know. Sometimes my darn manners and respecting-my-elders thing gets in the way of my usual aggressiveness.
Anywho, so now he's out of the hospital.
Big discussion about where to have Thanksgiving.
Usual place would either be Grandma's or the Grandaunts', but I'm iffy on driving during the holidays now. Watched a 'snow drive fail' video on youtube--can't remember the exact name--this morning with my brother and all it showed was this one stretch of road in some city where there was some mucho snowfall because all the cars that tried to drive kept spinning out and sliding. God, the sounds of the crashes just sent shivers up my spine. Jesus, flashbacks! So, yeah, canNOT wait until it starts snowing down here. *sarcasm*
And my cousin is just running around with some guy. God, I do, DO, love her, but I really just don't like her. She's like those girls I cannot stand. You know, the ones that flirt with all the guys and, yet, cannot manage to either land one or just PICK one. Then she whines about this guy not talking to her or that guy trying to get her number. I DON'T CARE!!! If I wanted some twisty, mind numbing story, I'd watch a freaking romantic comedy. She was even hanging about with her first boyfriend, now an ex, and she didn't even know he was married! MARRIED! His dad was the one to tell her at some dinner they attended. I asked, "What the hell, dude?" She didn't have an answer for me, so I told her to knock that shit off her boot right quick. I mean, really! Now I could go on, but I'm tired of the subject and I don't want to think about it anymore.
Hmm...let's see, what else?
Am thinking of making my own t-shirts--homemade screen tees made by yours truly. I highly doubt I'll get into it really because my attention span is virtually non-existent when it comes to crafts stuff. I do have a list of ideas that I've been harboring since high school, so who knows? I may just get into this anyway.
I do want a button machine. I can do buttons.
Need to start sketching out ideas for next year's Halloween costumes. I want my brother and I to be Prince Nuada and Princess Nuala from "Hellboy II: The Golden Army". Then he also wants us to be Wraith from "Stargate: Atlantis". So, we're thinking of doing a double costume thing and switch halfway through the night to get double the candy.

Could work.
That reminds me, I need to get my sketchbook. Apparently, one of the nephews squirreled it away when they were last down here and took it back to their house, two and a half hours away. Great.
Want to start writing again, but have no idea where to start. Need a new electrical cord for my laptop. The old one gave out. Phooey.
I also want to cut my hair. It's pretty long, little more than mid-back, I think. I'm probably going to donate and even out the cut. Let it grow out from there. Long hair is so annoying. I'm tired of buns and claw clips and having it loose just gets in the way.
Good news, I have a stocking cap now. My mom made it for me. It's gray and I love it.
That's pretty much it.
Ooh, and I'm upping the number of troop reinforcements when I play Star Wars. My brother and I are still battling over the galaxy since we started a new profile last month. Keep fighting over the same planets.
